After the introduction of the UPE system of primary education in Uganda in 1997 Fields of Life were concerned about the follow up to this system. We knew seven years later many primary school leavers would have no secondary school to go to. It was decided to build some secondary schools. The first secondary school built by Fields of Life was Grace High School and to date we have helped to build six more.
Grace High has just received the 'O' Level results and all students passed. Nine in Division one, twenty in division two and nine in division three. Well done to Fred Wakida and his staff.
Fields of Life will continue to build secondary schools. Unfortunately the cost to build one is much greater than a primary school.
