“helping to equip learning”
50cent can buy you a pen/pencil or two. The average person may lose a pen each day. However in the countries we work in, children cannot afford basic items of education such as a pencil or pen to use at school. I have seen a child cut a pencil in half and share it with another, so they can both have something to write with!
The “Write Gift” is a new venture of Fields of Life has taken on in an effort to provide writing materials for students and schools in Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda who have no or little access to the basic necessities of schooling. Over the coming years we hope to have enough material to supply many rural schools in Africa with pencils, pens and other school supplies.
This gift is something you can give that will help to equip a child to learn more effectively. These gifts will be greatly appreciated and on the children’s behalf we say a warm “Webale nnyo” (“Asante Sana”) (Thank You).
