Christmas Giving 2010 ...
Another year has come and Fields of Life have been giving out Christmas gifts for those children who are waiting in anticipation for their gift for 2010.
Thanks to everyone who responded to our last letter where we asked your opinion on the Christmas gift idea. As a result of your suggestions we will be buying a gift of sports equipment for the whole school and a small item for each child in the school not just the sponsored children. We think this is an excellent idea and it removes any jealousy that may have arisen in previous years where some children got a gift at the school and others did not.
We would still encourage you to send a Christmas card to your sponsored child and please remember to send it early. Please note that we have a new PO Box in Uganda which all mail should be addressed to in the future. Please write the Childs name, Fields of Life, PO Box 36388, Kampala, Uganda, East Africa. We would also encourage you to send any money or cheques directly to our offices here as it becomes difficult for our sponsorship department to administer in Uganda.
Fields of Life would like to thank all our sponsors who contributed to the last years Christmas present project. The children were thrilled to receive their presents, which was a blanket. The present will keep the children warm at night and not only does the child benefit from the present, but the family will be able to as well.
