Fields of Life

Sponsorship changes lives for both the children and sponsor alike. Through Fields of Life for £14pm you can bring positive changes to those who are in need.

I sponsored 4 children before our Team mission to Uganda in July 2010. During our mission I was very fortunate to meet all 4 of my sponsored children. It was a time in my life I will never forget.  The children, along with a senior teacher from their school, travelled for hours by public transport to see me in Kampala. I was overwhelmed at the lengths they went to. In fact Robert stayed at our guesthouse that night as it was not safe to travel through the night for 6 hours!!  It was great to see them in person, play games with them and be able to have a conversation with them, albeit basic. We talked about school, sport and RE. We played football, frisbee and dodgeball. We enjoyed a soda or two and took many photos. This was a truly rewarding experience and it was great to see at first- hand, how my sponsored children have benefited from child sponsorship through Fields of Life.

I now sponsor a 5^th child whom I met at our project.  Daphine who is 4 years old and through sponsorship can now start school and get an education. This will give her a good start in life and when older give her the opportunity to go after her dream, support her family and buy sweeties!!!!

On a final note, please do not underestimate the power of sponsorship.
