Think about your own hobbies and interests, when it comes to organising and promoting your fundraiser it's a lot easier if it is something you love and enjoy talking about.
WHAT?
Choose an event that you know people will enjoy, something you can organise easily but properly.
WHERE?
Think carefully about where you will have your fundraiser, will it work best inside or outdoors? How many people do you need to cater for? What resources do you need from the venue; Food? Music? Powerpoint?
WHO?
Do you need people to volunteer? Choose people who share your interest in the cause and passion for the fundraiser! Give people specific jobs to do so you can all work as team. Who are you inviting to the fundraising? Give people lots of warning so they will be free to come.
WHY?
Make sure people know why you are holding a fundraiser and tell them exactly where their money will go. Publicise your event well and make sure everyone knows the reason behind it.
